Group 2B seals are relatively easy to distinguish because the corners of the inner frame lines do not touch. Nine types are recorded to date.

Description: Local 1999 cover from Beijing repaired on right side with horizontal pair of official seals from Beijing City. Letter was returned to sender.
The most confusing to identify are the Group 2C seals, as there have been 34 distinct designs recorded so far. Careful examination of differences in the corner ornaments, the shape of the "clouds" between the frame lines, as well as the size & shape of the text lines are required to correctly determine the group number.
