Five different official seals have been recorded thus far from Fiji. All are believed to be relatively scarce on cover.

Date issued: Unknown, EKU May 1, 1944

Printing: Black

Perforation: Rouletted 7 vertically (at left or right) in color

Inscription: "FIJI. / G. (coat of arms) R. / FOUND OPEN / THE OFFICER CLOSING THIS MUST / SIGN HIS NAME IN THE CENTRE. / OFFICIALLY CLOSED."

Control Number: "P.O. 1B." at upper right, "113P43--500" at lower right

Description: Registered 1944 cover from Tarawa, Gilbert and Ellice Islands to Elizabeth, New Jersey that apparently was censored in transit at Suva, Fiji and secured on reverse with British King George VI Fijian seal.

Perforation: Rouletted 7 horizontally

Inscription: "FIJI POST OFFICE / OFFICIALLY SEALED / This article was ... at ... / and this label was attached to secure it. / By ..., Post Officer." with crown over "P & T / FIJI" logo at both ends

Control Number: "P.O. 139" at lower left, "/P10/" at lower right

Description: 1965 window envelope from Wellington, New Zealand to Lautoka, Fiji repaired with single post office seal of Fiji. Letter was opened in error probably due to incomplete address and returned to sender. Fiji Dead Letter Office postmark on front and Wellington Returned Letter Office datestamp on reverse.
