Description: Registered 1948 cover from Manjakandriana, Madagascar to London, routed through Paris and sealed at right and bottom with twelve French official seals, all tied front and reverse by eleven strikes of a July 13 Paris circular datestamp. Very unusual origin. "No 509" is found only on left margin position seals.
