The island nation of Grenada is located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, north of Trinidad and Tobago. Grenada gained independence from Great Britain in 1974. Only two different official seal types are currenly known. An example of each is shown below.

General Post Office Grenada, British West Indies "23 NOV 46" datestamp and postal clerk's initials applied to seal.

Description: Two British officially sealed tape pieces reclose top of registered 1986 cover from Tv°royri, Faroe Islands to Saint George's, Grenada that was unclaimed by addressee.
