Description: Domestic 1979 official cover from Villa de Baņos, Peru to Lima repaired at lower left with a completely new design "Precinto de Seguridad" ("Safety seal") seal. Envelope originally held summary of election returns.

The red seal was intended for use on certified mail. Another similar green design was used on air mail.

Description: Burned 1981 cover from Piura, Peru to Lima repaired at bottom with a different type "Precinto de Seguridad" seal.

The white seal was used for ordinary mail.
