Description: Cover from Fletcher, OH recovered from the March 3, 1907 wreck of the SS Dakota near Tokyo en route from Seattle to Yokohama. Much of the mail was pilfered by Japanese farmers when it washed up on shore. Letters addressed to the Philippines were processed in Manila. Only a very few covers received seals.
