Description: 1923 cover from Clocolan to Pretoria with single South African "officially closed" label affixed over left edge. Label tied front and back by September 6 Pretoria datestamps.

Inscription: Bilingual English/Afrikaans "Found open and / officially closed in / the Post Office."

Control Number: "P.438." at upper right

Description: Damaged 1937 cover from Mossel Bay to Tanga repaired along left edge with two South African officially sealed labels. Both seals are cancelled by Mar 20 Durban datestamps. Manuscript "Found mutilated / at Durban. / 20/3/37 / pm" on front. April 7 Tanga receiving cancel on reverse.
