Sweden
Twenty different official seals design types have been recorded to date from Sweden. Most are similar circular crown and posthorn designs. Like Germany and Austria, Sweden issued seals for many different cities, each having its own imprinted name. 110 individual types are known, many more surely exist.

Description: 1919 cover from Sundsvall, Sweden that "Arrived in damaged condition at Stockholm" (translation of violet annotation on back) with Stockholm official seal on reverse.
