Five official seals types are recorded from the Republic of Zambia. Formerly known as Northern Rhodesia, Zambia gained independence on October 24, 1964.

Description: 1967 from Kitwe, Zambia presumably to Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia repaired at bottom with Zambian seal. Label struck by violet boxed Kitwe, Republic of Zambia handstamp marking dated 7 March 1967. Black and red Salibury, Rhodesia Returned Letter Branch datestamps on reverse, one of which ties the seal.
